Purpose of the In-House Testing Lab
Chemical anchoring adhesive guns work with two-component structural adhesives used for bolt anchoring in concrete, stone and masonry. Poor matching between gun structure and adhesive cartridges may lead to improper mixing ratio, wasted adhesive and failed anchoring results. To guarantee stable performance, Volcano built an expanded independent testing laboratory dedicated to anchoring adhesive applicators and dual-cartridge dispensing tools.
Test Items Inside the Laboratory
The lab runs a full list of standardized tests: mixing ratio verification, extrusion pressure testing, continuous dispensing cycle test, low-temperature environment simulation, cartridge compatibility test and residual material cleaning test. Every batch of new anchoring gun samples must complete the whole test workflow before mass production. Technicians record whether the static mixer fits tightly, whether the push plate advances evenly and whether adhesive curing results meet specification.
Value for Brand Partners
Most of Volcano’s adhesive gun customers are adhesive formulation brands from Europe and North America. Adhesive manufacturers need applicators that perfectly match their cartridge size and mixing requirement. With internal testing capacity, Volcano can co-develop applicators together with adhesive suppliers, instead of only making generic off-the-shelf guns. It shortens the joint development cycle for new adhesive product launches.
Compliance and Documentation
All test reports are archived digitally for traceability. When clients require third-party certification support, Volcano can supply its internal test records as auxiliary technical documents. The lab also updates test standards according to the latest construction tool safety norms in target export markets.
