Cross-Regional Production Synergy: Volcano Machinery Thailand Branch Streamlines Overseas Delivery

The Layout of Thailand Manufacturing Branch

To better serve customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Zhejiang Volcano Machinery operates an independent manufacturing branch in Thailand. The overseas site covers 20,000 square meters of land, with 18,000 square meters of factory buildings. The Thailand factory focuses on semi-finished assembly, finished product packaging and regional warehousing for foam applicators and sealant guns, working in close coordination with the R&D and core component workshop in Jinhua, China.

Division of Labor Between China Headquarters and Thailand Factory

Core precision machined parts including gun valves, piston assemblies and sealing cores are produced and pre-tested in the Jinhua base, then shipped to Thailand for final assembly, surface treatment and packing. This split workflow helps reduce long-distance shipping costs for bulky finished goods, while keeping critical precision machining inside the domestic facility with decades of tooling experience. Local teams in Thailand handle customs documentation and last-mile logistics for nearby importers.

Benefits for Regional Hardware & Construction Importers

Many regional construction tool importers require flexible order cycles and shorter delivery windows. Stock stored at the Thailand warehouse can fulfill small and medium orders within a much shorter lead time, compared with shipping full containers directly from China. Local after-sales technicians are also stationed at the branch to support customers with product training, tool maintenance and complaint handling.

Long-Term Strategy for Global Service

Volcano Machinery emphasizes that dual-base manufacturing is not only for cost control. It builds risk resilience against international logistics fluctuations and regional trade policy changes. The company will keep expanding the testing capacity of the Thailand branch in the next phase, to run independent performance tests on foam guns and silicone guns for local market certification requirements.
